Street evangelism is one way we take the Gospel beyond the walls of the church and meet people where they are in their everyday lives. Along the Vancouver waterfront, we set up a tent and a table with Bibles and Gospel literature, inviting passersby to stop, meet us, and have a conversation.

Our youth and youth choir play a special role in this ministry. For the past two years, our young people have been going to the Vancouver waterfront to share a musical program, using their gifts to glorify Christ and draw the attention of passersby. After performing, they join other church members in talking with people, distributing Bibles and Christian literature, and having face-to-face conversations about faith.
The goal of this ministry is not simply to have a visible presence in the community, but to meet people personally and clearly share the message of Jesus Christ with them. Music helps draw people's attention, and literature provides a starting point for conversation, but the Gospel always remains at the center: God's love and our need for a Savior.
