In 2026, Word of Grace Bible Church joined Battle Ground’s large-scale Independence Day celebration for the first time. The event, organized by Maddox Transformer for several years, draws approximately 20,000 people, making it a unique opportunity to connect with our city’s residents and bear witness to Christ alongside other Christians.

Our brothers and sisters actively served throughout the event. Volunteers helped with the preparations and event operations, while our musicians took part in the stage program. Most importantly, amid the festive atmosphere, the clear message of the Gospel was proclaimed before an audience of thousands.
For our church family, this first experience was a great blessing. We worked side by side, served our city, and joined together in an event that brings the entire community together. We are grateful to the Lord for opening this door, and we pray that He will continue to use opportunities like this to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
