Every spring, Word of Grace Bible Church takes to the streets of Battle Ground to serve the community we call home. By cleaning up streets and public spaces, we seek to show practical care for our city, making it cleaner, more beautiful, and a more welcoming place to live.

But cleaning up streets is about more than simply serving the community. We believe Christians are called to be a light wherever they live. We want the people of our city to see that our faith is reflected not only in what we say but also in our willingness to give our time and effort freely for the good of others. Working together also strengthens our unity and teaches us to serve those around us.
At the same time, practical acts of care do not replace the most important message we want to share: the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As we clean up the city, we meet local residents, talk with them, tell them about our Savior, and invite them to church. In this way, through serving our city with our hands, we seek to do good and point people to Christ with our words.
