The church is about more than Sunday gatherings. It is about people learning to live in community, serve one another, and share the Gospel with those around them. That is why we seek out a variety of opportunities to connect, enjoy time together, and serve others beyond the usual rhythms of church life.
Adventures & Events brings all of this together in one ministry: growing together, discovering new places, and pointing people to Christ.

Adventures & Events Group is a ministry of Word of Grace Bible Church that brings people together through shared activities, outdoor adventures, practical service, and recreation. Several times a year, the group organizes trips to the ocean and mountains, where we can enjoy fellowship, strengthen relationships, worship God, and appreciate His creation.
At the same time, these outings have a clear evangelistic purpose. Church members invite unbelieving friends, relatives, and acquaintances, for whom these informal gatherings often become a first step toward getting to know the church. As we spend time together, we seek to build relationships, show genuine care, and create opportunities for our guests to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
During these outings, we also reach out to people we meet along the way. We set up a tent displaying our church logo at beaches and in the mountains, offer passersby coffee and tea, introduce ourselves, and engage in conversation. We also distribute Gospel tracts and invite people to visit our church. These simple encounters often provide a natural opportunity to talk about what matters most—Christ and the salvation found in Him.
In this way, Adventures & Events helps us turn even recreation and shared adventures into opportunities to connect with people, build meaningful relationships, and intentionally take the Gospel beyond the walls of the church.
